StingRay's Individual Cheat Sheets

Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends | Kickers | Team Defenses

Rank Player Name Comments
1 Neil Rackers

Neil Rackers was the number one kicker in fantasy last season. He made 40 out of 42 field goals attempted last year. If it’s distance you're after Rackers was solid. He was 6 out of 7 from 50 yards plus.

2 Mike Vanderjagt

The Dallas Cowboys did not make the playoffs last year because they lost three games due to poor field goal kicking. The Cowboys addressed the kicking game by bringing in the league’s most accurate kicker. The Cowboys offense should be much improved now that Terrell Owens is on board so Vanderjagt will be a top three kicker in the NFL this year.

3 Jeff Wilkins

Wilkins has been one of the elite kickers in the game and playing in the Dome does help his stats.

4 Jay Feely

Jay Feeley was the number two rated kicker last season and he’s playing in what may be the best division in football, the NFC East in 2006. Dallas, Washington, and Philadelphia are good defensive teams in the red zone so Feeley will have plenty of opportunities to kick field goals.

5 Matt Stover

The Ravens offense should be much improved now that Steve McNair is the quarterback. Plus, the addition of Mike Anderson will help the running game. These additions will help Matt Stover who was the 8th rated kicker in fantasy in 2005.

5 Shayne Graham

The Bengals offense was one of the league’s best last season and if Carson Palmer is fully recovered then Graham will continue to produce top notch numbers.

6 John Kasay

The Panthers might be the best overall team in the NFC and they can move the football on offense and create turnovers on defense. This bodes well for Kasay.

8 David Akers

David Akers’ numbers dropped last year due to Terrell Owens departure and injuries to McNabb and Brian Westbrook. The year before Akers was the 3rd best fantasy kicker in the league.

8 Rian Lindell

Lindell was the 7th rated kicker in fantasy last season and the Bills offense isn’t a powerhouse so he will continue to kick a lot of field goals.

9 Adam Vinatieri

Adam Vinatieri is probably the most clutch kicker in NFL history but fantasy wise I see him kicking a lot of extra points In Indianapolis. If your league awards bonus points for field goal distance then you might want to shy away from Adam. He has not made a field goal over 50 yards in 4 years during the fantasy season.
