Peyton Manning |
Edgerrin has moved to Arizona so Peyton could end up
throwing more than ever. |
|
2 |
Tom
Brady |
Brady
has averaged over 3800 yards and 26 touchdowns the
last three years. The Pats have two new rookies in
wide receiver Chad Jackson and running back Lawrence
Maroney which should make his job a little easier
this year. |
|
3 |
Carson Palmer |
Palmer's knee rehab is currently on schedule for him
to play week one. Here is one stat that I like about
Palmer… his 2005 completion percentage was 67.8% |
|
4 |
Matt Hasselbeck |
If
Darrell Jackson and Nate Burleson can stay healthy
this year Hasselbeck should have his best season. |
|
5 |
Donovan McNabb |
McNabb's numbers have the potential to suffer now
that TO is in Dallas. I would expect a few less
touchdowns but he should still post great weekly
numbers. |
|
6 |
Eli
Manning |
Eli
made big improvement from year one to year two.
Burress, Toomer and Shockey give Manning a very good
trio of receivers. |
|
7 |
Marc Bulger |
Coach
Mike Martz is has left town to become the
coordinator in Detroit but Bulger still has Holt,
Bruce and Curtis. |
|
8 |
Kurt Warner |
If
Warner can play all 16 games he will be a top ten
quarterback. The problem is I don't think he will.
If you draft Warner make sure you get a quality
number 2. |
|
9 |
Drew Bledsoe |
Drew
Bledsoe threw for 23 touchdowns last year with
Keyshawn Johnson as one of his receivers. Replace
Johnson with TO and Bledsoe has a chance for 30
touchdowns in 2006. |
|
10 |
Jake Delhomme |
Jake
only had one decent receiver last year. The Panthers
signed Keyshawn Johnson to help create a little
space for stud receiver Steve Smith. |
|
11 |
Daunte Culpepper |
The
word around the campfire is that Daunte is already
performing at a high level at the June minicamps. If
his knee doesn't suffer a setback he has enough
talent around him to be a good starter. |
|
12 |
Brett Favre |
Favre
is no longer a top ten quarterback but he is a great
number two and still will post some great weekly
scores as well as the occasional stinker. |
|
13 |
Trent Green |
Green
has thrown for over 4000 yards each of the last
three years. He won't reach 4000 yards with run
orientated coach Herm Edwards calling the plays this
year however. |
|
14 |
Jake Plummer |
If
Javon Walker and Tatum Bell can stay healthy,
Plummer could be a top ten fantasy quarterback. |
|
15 |
Michael Vick |
Vick is
a good number two quarterback who will post the
occasional big game. |
|
16 |
Aaron Brooks |
Brooks
should post good numbers this year because Randy
Moss and Jerry Porter are a big improvement over
Donte Stallworth and an injured Joe Horn. |
|
17 |
Ben
Roethlisberger |
Ben has
averaged 2500 yards and 17 touchdowns in his first
two years in the league. He would have posted much
better numbers if he hadn't missed 4 games with a
thumb injury. |
|
18 |
Mark Brunell |
The
Redskins added Antawaan Randel El and Brandon Lloyd
and are rumored to be opening up the offense this
year. Statements like "opening up the offense"
usually scare me but with Santana Moss and the new
receivers Brunell has a chance to post some good
numbers as your backup quarterback. |
|
19 |
Drew Brees |
Brees
is going to be ready for week one after shoulder
surgery but I wouldn't expect too much from him
until weeks 5 or 6, once his team has grown
accustomed to the new coach, new offense and new
quarterback. |
|
20 |
Philip Rivers |
It's
the Philip Rivers show in San Diego this year. He
should post good numbers in this offense just like
Brees has the last few years. |
