Smokin Joe's Individual Cheat Sheets

Quarterbacks | Running Backs | Wide Receivers | Tight Ends | Kickers | Team Defenses

Rank Player Name Comments
1 Steve Smith

The addition of Keyshawn Johnson to the Panthers offense is only going to help Smith's numbers.

2 Larry Fitzgerald

Fitzgerald had 103 catches in 2005. The addition of Edgerrin James might reduce his overall number of catches but it will increase his red zone opportunities.

3 Marvin Harrison

Harrison is one of the most dependable fantasy football players. He will be a top three receiver again this year.

4 Terrell Owens

Parcells said that TO won't catch 100 balls in this offense. Okay, but I'll bet you he catches 80 and at least 15 of them will be for touchdowns.

5 Torry Holt

If the Rams show that they can run the ball consistently as new coach Scott Linehan has promised, Holt and Bulger should be able to connect over the top on a regular basis.

6 Chad Johnson

Quarterback Carson Palmer is going to be ready week one. So Chad should be in for another big year.

7 Chris Chambers

Chambers has put up good numbers with Gus Ferrotte and Jay Fiedler throwing him the ball. Imagine what he could do with a player of Culpepper's ability.

8 Reggie Wayne

Harrison is still the main guy in Indy but Manning throws enough to get his number two receiver into the top ten.

9 Anquan Boldin

Boldin is almost as special a player as Fitzgerald except Fitzgerald is bigger red zone target.

10 Randy Moss

Aaron Brooks was fired in New Orleans but he could be just what the doctor ordered for Moss owners. Brooks struggles with his short route accuracy but he does throw a great long ball. If Moss is healthy he could post top five numbers.

11 Hines Ward

Plaxico Burress left before last year, Randle El left this off season and rookie receiver Santonio Holmes can't stay out of trouble. Ward might have to catch 100 balls out of default.

12 Plaxico Burress

Burress posted nice numbers but he should improve on them this year if Eli Manning can get his completion percentage up over 53%.

13 Darrell Jackson

Jackson missed most of last year with an injury but he did return and play well. I expect him to return to a number one receiver status as long as he and Matt Hasselbeck can stay healthy.

14 Andre Johnson

If Andre played with a better quarterback than David Carr he would be ranked much higher.

15 T.J. Houshmandzadeh

The other guy in Cincinnati is pretty good too. T.J. will make a great number two receiver on your team as well.

16 Santana Moss

Moss was terrific last year but the Redskins signed Brandon Lloyd and Antwaan Randle El to help ease his workload.

17 Javon Walker

The word out of Denver is that Walker's knee is looking great and he will be ready for week one. I wouldn't expect him to post top five numbers like he did in Green Bay before he got hurt but he could easily be in the top 15.

18 Donald Driver

Walker is in Denver so Driver is the clear cut number one in Packerland. The question is, how much does Favre have left?

19 Derrick Mason

The McNair to Mason connection is alive and well again but in Baltimore this time. Seriously, is anyone happier than Mason to have McNair behind center instead of Boller.

20 Roy Williams

I know Martz is supposed to be an offensive genius but Jon Kitna? Roy is an unbelievable talent who could post top ten numbers if everything falls into place in Detroit.
