Round Player Position Comments
1 Clinton Portis RB

Best still available as the run on running backs began. Had him ranked 4th so he was a bargain at five.

2 Dominic Rhodes RB

Surprised he was still around with the 15th selection. Maybe I'm higher on him than most.

3 Deuce McAllister RB

Everyone is afraid of him, not me. He will have something to prove with the new kid in town.

4 Chris Chambers WR

Big fan of the Dolphins offense. Thrilled to get their No.1 receiver.

5 Marc Bulger QB

As a starter he averaged more points than any other quarterback last year.

6 Rod Smith WR

Mr. Consistency should get me 1,000 yards and nine touchdowns. Not bad for a No.2 receiver.

7 Chris Brown RB

Lots of backs in Tennessee but Brown is the starter. Fairly happy with my first three so I can afford to take a chance.

8 Daunte Culpepper QB

Already have a solid quarterback so I went after a potential stud.

9 Derrick Blaylock RB

Major error with this pick. Blaylock is the No.3 in New York. The better selection would have been Cedric Houston.

10 Jason Witten TE

Needed a tight end and Witten was the best available.

11 Michael Bennett RB

Waited too long before handcuffing Reggie Bush so I went with the veteran No.3.  Bush hold out could make this a wise decision

12 Adam Vinatieri KI

With Edgerrin James no longer with the team the Colts won't score as many touchdowns. Rule one with kickers is draft someone who plays indoors.

13 Kevan Barlow RB

Two straight disappointing years but at this time he is the starter.

14 Travis Henry RB

Handcuff for Chris Brown. The only Tennessee running back I don't have is LenDale White.

15 Drew Brees QB

Like to draft a lot of quarterbacks since this position has more injuries than any other.

16 Washington Defense DT

Coach Gibbs always puts together a solid defense.

17 Zach Hilton TE

Drew Brees loves to use the tight end and Hilton could quickly become his favorite target.

18 Arizona Defense DT

Not bad last year and this year they shouldn't be on the field that much.

19 Bobby Engram WR

Always solid, even as a No.3 receiver.

20 Santonio Holmes WR

Rookie speculation and I am a Steelers fan so you can call this a homer pick.
