CrunchTime
- Deuce McAllister
After a disappointing first half that left the Saints down 20 - 3, Deuce had logged a measly 20 yards rushing. Going into the second
half however, things changed significantly. Rather than going to the air in typical trailing fashion, the Saints continued to pound the ball via McAllister. This proved to be the right move as the Saints were able to push the game
into overtime, and McAllister was able to bound into Freak of the Week territory.
When it was all said and done, the Deuce got loose to the tune of 64 receiving yards, 173 rushing yards, and 2 rushing touchdowns.
It's impressive anytime a fantasy player breaks the 30 point margin, but to do so in essentially one half is hardly ever done.

The
Sandman - Kelly Holcomb
During the off-season, one of the biggest questions to be answered was who
was going to be the Browns starting quarterback. I was of the opinion that
Holcomb was better than Tim Couch but I worried that the money would get involved and coach Butch Davis would ultimately
have to start Couch because he made so much more annually. It took 11 weeks but Holcomb finally showed why he should be
the starter.
Holcomb led the Browns to a convincing 44 – 6 win over the Arizona Cardinals. He finished the day 29-of-35 for 392 yards and 3 touchdowns. More
importantly, he didn’t throw an interception. For Holcomb owners, this might
be the start of something big since Holcomb only faces two teams that are in
the top half in passing defense for the remainder of the season.

StingRay
- Peter Warrick
Chad Johnson was the receiver who guaranteed
that the Bengals would win, but Peter Warrick was the receiver who delivered on Sunday.
The Bengals were up 10-6 heading into the 4th quarter when Warrick returned a punt 68 yards to give
Cincinnati a 17-6 lead. The Chiefs came back and scored a touchdown to cut the Bengals' lead to 17-12.
It appeared that the Chiefs were going to make a comeback until Peter caught a 77 yard touchdown pass.
Warrick finished the game with 7 receptions for 114 yards and a touchdown.
He also had one rush for 11 yards and of course the 68 yard punt return.
That's 212 yards of total offense by the number two receiver on the team.
The Chiefs are no longer undefeated and they have Peter Warrick to thank for their first loss of the season.

Smokin'
Joe - Edgerrin James
It only took 11 weeks but Egderrin
(my keeper this year) finally gets the call as my "Freak of the Week".
James spoke up after last week's game and said he didn't think he was getting the ball enough.
The Colts agreed and ended up giving him 42 touches on Sunday. James
finished with over 150 combined yards and converted three of those
opportunities into touchdowns.
Three touchdowns in one game after posting only two for the entire year.
I think that I speak for the rest of the James owners when I say that I hope this is
the first of many "Freakish" performances to come.
