The
Sandman - Dante Hall
This
is ridiculous. There
is no way that one man can affect the fantasy scoring so easily as Dante
Hall has over
the last four weeks.
How many of us had the Kansas City Defense/Special
Teams in the top 20?
Bueller...Bueller...
Why
should we have though? They were ranked dead last in 2002.
They made some solid off-season moves but Mr. Hall has added another
dimension, weekly touchdowns. Four out of five weeks this year he
has returned a kickoff or punt for a touchdown. That is an
additional 24 points in the Freaks league for the Kansas City
Defense/Special Teams and that ranks them No.1 overall in 2003. Just
to put that into perspective, he has scored more points this year by
himself than the entire Eagles' defense.
This
week he did his Billy "White Shoes" Johnson impersonation and
cut back left, looped around the outside and ran 94 yards for a
game-winning record-breaking touchdown. What ever happened to
the art of angling punts and kick-offs? Anyway, congratulations
Dante, you can get the key to the castle.

StingRay
- Marvin Harrison
Marvin
Harrison started off the season slowly and people were questioning whether
he was worth the high draft pick that it took to acquire him. The answer
is a resounding yes.
Many
of you Freaks were asking us questions about who they should start over
Marvin Harrison this week because of his horrible match-up against Tampa
Bay. Well, if you listened to StingRay then I told you that despite the
bad match-up, you had to play Harrison because he's too good to sit
on the bench.
I
too debated sitting Harrison in one of my leagues but I stuck with him and
was rewarded with an 11 catch, 176 yards, and 2 touchdown performance. Say
it now, never bench Harrison. Congratulations Marvin for shredding the
Buccaneers defense and rewarding your owners who stuck with you this week.

Smokin'
Joe - David Boston
David
disappointed owners the first 4 weeks of the season with two
poor performances and two missed games. One game he missed with
a bruised heel and one due to a being suspension for conduct detrimental
to the team. Boston
more than made up for that yesterday with an impressive 14 catches for 181
yards and 2 touchdowns. He even had a 46 yard touchdown catch in the
second quarter where he out ran the entire Jaguars defense. Enjoy
your bye week David, you earned it. |
