StingRay -
Darrell Jackson
Darrell Jackson has had trouble holding
on to the ball all season long and I usually mock him for it but not
today. Last week with his father dying from cancer Jackson was
away from the team for most of the week. He rejoined the team
Saturday night only to find his father to passed away Sunday morning.
Jackson had an excuse to not play
Sunday but he did play and Jackson played a vital role in the most
important game for the Seahawks to date. Darrell had 10 receptions
for 135 yards and a touchdown in a big win for the Seahawks.
Jackson as been an up and down fantasy
performer but in the last two games he has played extremely well. Over
that span he has caught 19 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns.

CrunchTime - Brian
Griese
Even for those of you in leagues with
negative points, you had to be proud of Griese this week. He ended
a mere 8 yards shy of the 400 yard mark and topped it all off with a
touchdown pass to Clayton and a couple to Galloway.
While his team came up short, I have to
think that most fantasy teams that started him were in pretty good
shape. Considering where Griese ranked on people’s pre-draft charts this
was an even more impressive showing.

Smokin' Joe - T.J.
Houshmandzadeh
T.J had 12 catches for 145 yards
against the Patriots this weekend. The Champs are still without
their top cornerback (Ty Law) but you have to respect a 12 catch day.
He did this after posting 10 catches for 171 yards and a touchdown a
week ago.
T.J. has had some good games here and
there but Chad Johnson has been the go-to receiver for the Bengals.
After two "Freak-like" performances in a row, owners are likely to start
paying a little more attention to Johnson's sidekick.

The Sandman -
T.J. Duckett
The running back by committee in the
Atlanta backfield has been a headache all season but this week Duckett
did his job, scoring four touchdowns against the Raiders. The four
touchdowns matched his season total.
The problem is that almost no one
started him as he shares carries with Warrick Dunn. I have always
felt that Duckett would be a solid mid-tier running back if he were the
only option in the backfield. This week he proved it and he gets my vote
for Freak of the Week.
