Billy Volek
Billy Volek was on the waiver wire in
one of my leagues and after last Monday night’s performance against the
Titans I thought it would be a wise move to pick him up. Unfortunately
my record was too good so my opponent for week 15 picked him up, played
him and bounced me out of the playoffs for in that league.
Billy Volek went 40/60 for 492 yards, 4
touchdowns, and one pick. The man threw the ball 60 times! The guy who
beat me was ecstatic because he drafted Steve “I think I might retire”
McNair. McNair may be a great quarterback but when it comes to
fantasy football we all hope he does retire so that Volek will be the QB
in Tennessee next season.

Smokin' Joe - Kerry
Collins
Kerry had his best game as a Raider
Sunday and showed all of the Silver and Black fans that there is
something to look forward to next year. With the emergence of Joey
Porter and Ronald Curry this year it looks like the Raiders will be okay
on offense next season.
How hot is Kerry Collins? He threw for
5 touchdowns and over 370 yards in a win over the Tennessee Titans. He
now has fourteen touchdowns over the last five games. I know a couple of
owners who needed to pick up a quarterback for their playoff games and
Collins was the best option available. I haven't heard from them yet but
I am assuming with a day like Collins had they will all be pretty happy
with the pick up. Now for some more good news for Collins owners... He
is facing the Kansas City Chiefs this coming weekend.
