Marvin Harrison
It’s about time someone gives some love
to “Marvelous” Marvin Harrison.
After the 2004 season some people
thought that Harrison’s best days were behind him as Reggie Wayne was
emerging as one of Peyton favorite targets. The way the Colts offense
started this season (scoring minimal points) it appeared that Harrison
may have not been worth that high draft pick.
Wrong! Marvin Harrison is the number
two receiver in fantasy and he gets no love because he’s as quiet as a
mouse and just gets the job done on a weekly basis.
On Sunday against the Jaguars I was
loving my Peyton Manning to Marvin Harrison combo in one of my playoff
games. Harrison had 6 catches for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Harrison started the season with one
touchdown and no 100-yard receiving games in the first 3 games of the
season. Since then Harrison has had five 100-yard receiving games,
scored a touchdown in 8 of his last 10 games, and has a total of 12
touchdowns on the season with 3 games left! Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson,
and Randy Moss get all the publicity but the true Freak is Marvin
Harrison.

CrunchTime -
Terry Glenn
By using some serious misdirection Glenn
was able to make a huge impact on the fantasy world this week. He got
things started by posting his first rushing touchdown of the year on a
tricky reverse in the red zone. He then put things over the top when his
hesitation on the flea-flicker bought him the running room he needed to
take it 71 yards for the score. Those two plays were responsible for
19.7 points of his production. He then added on another 6.7 points worth
of yardage to really make this a Freakish outing.

The Sandman - Drew
Bledsoe
Everyone always gets excited about the
next up and coming rookie but Bledsoe proved that a veteran can still
put up solid numbers. Bledsoe had his best game of the season against
the Chiefs, 22-for-24 for 332 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions.
This was the third time this year that Bledsoe has thrown for 300+ yards
but this was his first 300 yard game in which he also didn’t throw an
interception.
Take a look at the fantasy quarterback
rankings for this week and you won’t see Peyton Manning or Carson Palmer
at the top of the list. It will be Mr. Bledsoe.
