Freak of the Week - Week 11

The NFLFreaks Salute the True NFL Freaks

StingRay - Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens gets my love this week after his 173-yard 4 touchdown performance against Washington.  Owens is the number two receiver in fantasy and this week he won games for a ton of owners including me (I also happen to have Tony Romo as my quarterback).

Owens has 12 touchdowns so far this season which is 4 off of his career high of 16 touchdown he caught back in 2001 for the 49ers.

CrunchTime - Santana Moss

After a disappointing season that involved pulling himself from a game and sitting out others, Moss really came to play in week 11. While he may not have gotten the attention from the broadcasters (due to TO’s great game), Moss was one of the main reasons Washington had a chance to pull the game out down the stretch. His 121 yards on 9 receptions were enough to reward yardage leagues and point per reception leagues while the touchdown helped make it a success across the board. Welcome back to the fantasy world Moss.

The Sandman - Chester Taylor

It’s been a tough year for me in the Sleeper category but this week I hit one out of the ballpark when I selected Taylor.  The matchup was too good to ignore but I didn’t think that Taylor would have 164 yards rushing and three touchdowns.  Taylor showed this ability last year when he put up 1,200 yards but this performance was just freakish….
