StingRay -
Kellen Winslow
I want to give a reward to the tight end
who has been doing everything right this year and that is Kellen
Winslow. Winslow has been nothing but a professional this season.
He has not even said anything stupid or crashed his motorcycle so far.
As far as fantasy tight ends go only
Antonio Gates has better numbers. On Sunday Winslow had another solid
day with 10 receptions for 107 yards and a touchdown. That was
Kellen’s 3rd 100-yard receiving game of the season. Winslow has also had
another 4 games where he has had over 80 yards receiving. It’s no
coincidence that Winslow’s good play has helped Cleveland get out to a
7-4 record.

CrunchTime -
Minnesota Defense
In a game where everyone's focus is always
on the quarterback, running back and wide receiver positions it's often
lost that your supporting cast can really swing the tide of the game.
This week the Minnesota defense was a complete game changer, potentially
making up for a disappointing outing on your roster or an opposing
stud's outburst by getting into the end zone 3 times. Additionally,
Minnesota complemented its solid rushing defense with a pass defense
that posted 3 sacks and 4 picks.
That's some serious production and the
kind of output that helps make the fantasy playoff push that much easier.

The Sandman
- Brett Favre
A lot of fantasy football "experts” said
that Favre should have retired last year but it looks like he has
another five years in his arm. Favre is shredding defenses through
the air and what amazes me is that he has done it for most of the year
without a running game.
This week he went into Detroit and threw
for 381 yards and 3 touchdowns. This marks the fifth time this year,
three in a row, that Favre has thrown for three touchdowns.
