StingRay -
Kenny Watson
The Cincinnati Bengals
finally get a much needed win and it wasn’t because
of Carson Palmer, T.J. Houshmanzadeh or Chad
Johnson. Kenny Watson got the start over the injured
Rudi Johnson and boy did Watson deliver. He
carried the ball 31 times for 130 yards and 3
touchdowns.
Congratulations to all
who grabbed Watson off of the waiver wire because he
was a fantasy stud on Sunday.

Smokin' Joe
-
DeMeco Ryans
Not everyone plays in Individual Defensive
Player leagues (IDP) but if you do you know how great it is to see one
of your players do what DeMeco Ryans did on Sunday.
He posted "The Play" - a sack, forced
fumble and fumble recovery
for a touchdown. That one play alone is worth 20 points and then you add
on his 9 tackles, a second fumble recovery and his total climbed to 34
points.
I did not play Ryans this week, my
opponent did, and now I need Peyton Manning to try and match DeMeco's
output so I can pull out a win.

CrunchTime
- Randy Moss
This weekend Moss really impressed me with
his 4 receptions for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns. I realize that
Moss didn’t have the best numbers among New England receivers (Welker
had 5 more catches and 16 more yards) but it was the way he made his
plays that was completely ridiculous.
His first two catches (both for scores)
were complete jump balls. On one he rose up above the opposing defenders
to get his hands on it, on the other he seemed to catch it with his
elbow in a similar type play. While I admit it probably wasn’t his
elbow, it doesn't change how sweet the play was.
What made this such a great fantasy
display was that he showed he’s going to produce whatever the situation,
and is building on the trust with Brady that will lead to more jump ball
opportunities in the future.

The Sandman
- Priest Holmes
Anyone who has been playing fantasy
football more than three or four years remembers how dominant Holmes was
so it was nice to see him back on the field this week. He didn’t
do anything special, 4 carries for 9 yards, but the important thing was
that he got back on the field for the first time in nearly two years.
