Hall
of Shame - Week 15
Everybody Knows Your Name
I
don't care who you are; Player, Coach, Broadcaster, Writer, you name it.
You sucked, and we're going to tell you why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay - David
Akers
David Akers had been the best kicker in
fantasy all season long but on Sunday he finished with 0 points!
The Eagles offense was terrible against Dallas and they seemed lost
without T.O. on the field. Akers attempted no field goals and he missed
an extra point. Shame on you David for saving your worst performance of
the season for a playoff game.

StingRay - The
Blizzard in Cleveland (Honorable Mention)
The Browns are so pathetic on defense
that Drew Brees could have had a career day. Instead, with the Blizzard
in San Diego Brees went 4-6 for 85 yards in a touchdown. He threw a
72-yard touchdown to Antonio Gates in the second quarter and if it
weren’t for that toss he would have totaled 13 yards passing and no
touchdowns.
Hopefully you watched the weather
report before you started him. If you didn’t I’m sure your fantasy team
went down because of the Blizzard in Cleveland.

Smokin' Joe - Mike
Shanahan
It never fails. At least a couple of
times a year Coach Shanahan does everything he can to screw fantasy
football owners. Okay, I am being a little over the top here but all
week he said Reuben Droughns would be the starter. Tatum Bell has a
separated shoulder and will only play in the case of an emergency.
Yeah right!
Droughns got 4 carries for 27 yards (6.8
yards per carry), Bell got 9 carries for 50 yards (5.6 avg.) and
Garrison Hearst got 5 carries for 26 yards (5.2 avg.) and most
importantly a touchdown. If Shanahan did what he said then Droughns
finishes with 18 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers
are much more acceptable for a starting running back. Unfortunately it
didn't work out that way. Mike Shanahan you are a very bad, bad man and
into the Hall you go.
