Hall
of Shame - Week 2
Everybody Knows Your Name
I
don't care who you are; Player, Coach, Broadcaster, Writer, you name it.
You sucked, and we're going to tell you why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay - Trent
Green
Trent Green followed up Monday night’s
performance with another bad outing Sunday against the Panthers. Green
was 17-34 for 187 yards, 0 touchdowns and an interception. So far in two
games Trent Green has not thrown a touchdown pass. He hasn’t even had a
200–yard passing game.
Things are not good with the Kansas
City offense. Trent Green has completed just 50 percent of his passes
and now the chiefs will be without Eddie Kennison for a few weeks.
Welcome to the Hall Trent.

CrunchTime -
Washington Redskins
Gibbs is going to have to go back to
fundamentals. For one he’s going to have to run some serious quarterback
drills. His QBs combined for 4 interceptions on Sunday. Any time you
throw 4 picks you’re in bad shape, but to do so against the Giants’
secondary is shameful.
After he’s done reminding his QBs what
color jerseys they should throw to he should get to some hands drills.
Portis had 2 fumbles that both ended up in New York hands, while Ramsey
and Brunell combined for another 3 fumbles (of which they fortunately
only lost one).
4 picks and 5 fumbles? You’ve got to be
kidding me.

Smokin' Joe - Brad
Johnson
Johnson threw for a total of 34 yards
yesterday. Ouch! This is a guy who finished in the top ten in
fantasy scoring last year. Brad was so bad that he was benched for
Chris Simms.
I know that plenty of owners are crying
today because of this terrible performance, but he was so bad that at
least you know he can no longer be counted on. You keep him on your
bench and I'll keep him in the Hall.
Get comfortable Brad it looks like you
are going to be here for awhile.

The Sandman - Jeff
Garcia
I have to say that that Garcia will be
the first player ever to go from Freak of the Week to Hall of Shame in a
week. The reasons are pretty straight forward, 8-of-27 for 71 yards, 0
touchdowns and 3 interceptions. This translates to an average of 2.63
yards per attempt and a mind blowing 0.00 quarterback rating.
No one can question his heart but this
performance killed many fantasy owners this week and took the Browns
back to square one after an impressive victory over the Ravens in week
1. Garcia looked like A.J. Feeley this week as he consistently threw
into double and triple coverage. I guess this is the type of performance
you can expect for $5 million per season, NOT.
This was embarrassing and Garcia should
be ashamed as he makes the long walk into the hall.
