Hall
of Shame - Week 7
Everybody Knows Your Name
I
don't care who you are; Player, Coach, Broadcaster, Writer, you name it.
You sucked, and we're going to tell you why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay - Randy
Moss
Randy Moss is the number one receiver
in fantasy when he plays but this week he hurt all of his owners.
Moss had never missed a game and we were told that he would be a game
time decision. On Sunday morning, ESPN’s Chris Mortenson reported that
not
only will Moss play but that he would start. If you’re a Moss owner how
do you not play the guy when you hear that news?
So many people started Moss only to see
him start the game, play two snaps, then leave with tightness in his
hamstring. Randy
gave fantasy owners a zero in the box score! Did Moss play two snaps
just to keep his streak of starting games going or did
he actually re-injure it? Hmm...
Hopefully we will find out the truth
this week but shame on you Randy for killing fantasy
teams everywhere.

Smokin' Joe -
Atlanta Falcons Defense
The Falcons were number one against the
run Sunday morning. By Sunday night they had allowed over 300 combined
yards to Priest Holmes and Derrick Blaylock. Oh yeah, and they let up
EIGHT rushing touchdowns!
The Chiefs are a very good rushing team
but this was a complete disaster from top to bottom. The Falcons looked
softer than the Chiefs and that is a tough thing to do. I wonder if they
thought that this was week nine and they were on their bye. It sure
looked like it.

CrunchTime -
Torry Holt
Yes, Miami has a great defense. No,
that is not an excuse for having 1 reception for 4 yards. How can he do
so well one week and completely disappear the next? 15 tight ends
outscored him this week (prior to MNF). That’s just disgraceful from one
of the top receivers in the game.
Anybody who spent a high enough pick to
get Holt should be able to expect better
production.

The Sandman -
Drew Bledsoe
Lets face the facts, no one expected
Bledsoe to be their starting fantasy quarterback this year but what he
did on Sunday and has done all year has been is embarrassing. Once again
on Sunday he threw an unwise pass that turned into a defensive touchdown
that led to another Bills loss.
So far this year, Bledsoe has only thrown for more than 200 yards three
times. Did I mention that his high on the season is only
247 yards? That combined with the fact that he has thrown for more than
one touchdown only once makes his fantasy production abysmal. Bledsoe
hasn’t been great but the former first round pick is dreaming of the
days when he played in Foxboro.
Welcome to the hall Drew and fall is a fine time to be playing in New
England.
