CrunchTime - Aaron Brooks
At the start of the day Sunday it appeared
Brooks was poised to do some great things.
He may not have had his number one target, but
it wasn't going to matter because they were facing the Packers, the 0-4,
turnover happy, no-offensive line, shoddy pass defense Packers.
With all of that in place, the only thing
Brooks burned on Sunday was the fantasy owner who was unfortunate enough to
start him.
Brooks took it upon himself to define a new
level of underperforming, even for the Saints who have underachieving down
to an art form.
His 9 completions came on 22 attempts with two
picks.
A performance dismal enough to earn Todd
Bouman some playing time in the 3rd and 4th quarter.
