Everybody Knows Your Name
I
don't care who you are; Player, Coach, Broadcaster, Writer, you name it.
You sucked, and we're going to tell you why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay - NFL
Kickers
Week 12 was the week of the choke by NFL
Kickers. On Thanksgiving Day Dallas Cowboys kicker Billy Cundiff missed
a 34-yard field goal late in the 4th quarter which would have given the
Cowboys a 3 point lead. The result? The game goes to OT and the
Denver Broncos win.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were down 3 to the Chicago Bears and they
needed a 29-yard field goal to tie the game with 2:47 to go in the game.
Tampa Bay kicker Matt Bryant missed. The result? Chicago wins.
In Seattle the Giants played their butts off only to lose because Jay
Feely missed 3 potential game winning field goals. Feely was wide left
on a 40-yarder at the end of regulation. Then Feely was short on a
difficult 54 yard attempt in overtime. Then he was wide and short again
on a 45 yard attempt.
The result? Josh Brown kicked a
37-yard field goal to win the game. In what was a big game for the
Giants who could have tied Seattle for the best record in the NFC and
took over first place in the NFC East Feely choked. If the Giants fail
to win the division falling short by one game than this will be the game
that Giants fans will remember.
Welcome to the Hall Feely and the rest of
the kickers who let their team down.

The Sandman -
Mike Sherman
I am getting a little upset with coaches
saying one thing and doing something else. Don’t they know that we make
decisions based on what they say during the week?!!! This week coach
Mike Sherman said that Samkon Gado and Tony Fisher would split carries
since he wasn’t happy with Gado’s fumbling.
This sent many Fisher owners to their computer to change their lineup
and it probably cost them a win this week as Fisher had only 2 carries
for 9 yards.
What did Gado do? Only 26 carries for 111
yards and a touchdown. I don’t know about you, but to me that isn’t an
equal distribution.
For saying one thing and doing another, I
have four words for coach Mike Sherman, Welcome to the Hall. |
