Hall
of Shame - Week 16
Everybody Knows Your Name
I
don't care who you are; Player, Coach, Broadcaster, Writer, you name it.
You sucked, and we're going to tell you why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

Hindsight - Ryan
Moats
To own a Philadelphia Eagles player this
year was a fantasy disaster. First Owens, then McNabb and then
Westbrook fell out of the picture and many fantasy teams fell with them.
Reggie Brown didn't save Owens' owners and
Mike McMahon certainly didn't help McNabb's owners, but Ryan Moats
looked like he might save savvy GM's who had backed up Westbrook.
In week 13 Moats exploded with 114 yards
and two scores on only 11 carries against the Giants 15th ranked rushing
defense. He followed that up with a 78 yard, one touchdown
performance against St. Louis.
Was he on the brink of saving fantasy
seasons everywhere with perfect timing in the fantasy football playoffs?
No. Instead he performed a cruel
bait-and-switch, putting up only 13 yards on 9 carries. Welcome to
the hall Ryan, for your 1.9 yard per carry average, you truly deserve
it.

StingRay - LaDanian
Tomlinson
LaDainain Tomlinson carried the ball 15
times for 49 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs. He had another 18
yards receiving but 67 total yards and no touchdowns from one of the
best running backs in the NFL is terrible.
What makes it worse is that Tomlinson has
been awful during the most important time of the year for fantasy owners
and that is the fantasy playoffs.
After scoring 22 touchdowns in his first
12 games, Tomlinson has not scored a touchdown in his last 4 games! He
also has not posted 100 total yards in his last 3 games.
If Tomlinson was your back you probably
didn’t win your league and for that Tomlinson gets my vote (and many
other people's) for a spot in the Hall. |
