Hall of Shame - Week 1

Everybody Knows Your Name

I don't care who you are; Player, Coach, Broadcaster, Writer, you name it.  You sucked, and we're going to tell you why.

Another staff favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the worst sports-related performers of the week.

CrunchTime - Shaun Alexander

The top echelon of fantasy players deserve to be judged by harsher standards. With that said, Alexander was a huge disappointment. The fact that he had less than 2.7 yards per carry and fumbled the ball twice (one lost) is just inexcusable.

I'm sure all of you who spent a top three pick on him are just as disappointed, especially since the Lions' defense isn't one you'd expect to shut down a top tier, record breaking back.

StingRay - Carnell "Cadillac" Williams

My Hall of Shame award goes to Cadillac Williams who finished his home opener against the Baltimore Ravens with 8 carries for 22 yards and no scores. Cadillac did have 5 receptions for 25 yards but 47 total yards for a back that was taken high in many drafts isn’t very good at all.

The Sandman - Brett Favre

There is no doubt that Favre will be a Hall of Famer when he finally
hangs up the cleats, but last year (plus) has been painful to watch.

This week Favre embarrassed himself with a pitiful performance, 15-of-29 for 170 yards and two interceptions. This makes ten interceptions over the last three games for Favre but the icing on the cake is that this was the first time in 233 games that the Packers didn't score any points.

The Packers will start looking to the future before the season is over so if you own Favre try to trade him after he has his one in four good games.
