Hall of
Shame - Week 12
Everybody Knows Your Name
|
I don't care who you are; Player, Coach,
Broadcaster, Writer, you name it. You sucked, and we're going to tell you
why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay - Torry
Holt
Big play Torry Holt has been a no-show
ever since he had that big game against Seattle back in October in which
he caught 8 passes for 154 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Since then his numbers have been awful.
These are his fantasy numbers since week 8 (4.8, 5, 7.3, 6.8, and 3).
This is supposed to be one of e the best
fantasy receivers in the league? Shame on you Torry for laying an
egg the past 5 weeks when your fantasy teams needed you most.

CrunchTime - Willie
Parker
Parker was on the wrong end of one of the
most impressive defensive displays I can remember. After posting some
pretty solid outings this season he did quite the opposite this week.
The fact that Roethlisberger threw the ball 4 times as often as Parker
ran it was not good as well. It’s tough to fault them in that
respect considering Parker only averaged 2.2 yards per carry. His
receiving was nowhere near enough to compensate for the mere 22 rushing
yards leaving him with a total of 37 yards to show for all his troubles.
That’s just pitiful and worth a trip to the Hall of Shame!

The Sandman -
Jake Delhomme
I have been a huge Jake Delhomme fan for
many years. In the preseason I had him as one of my sleeper quarterbacks
and called him a poor man’s Peyton Manning. This year he has been
just poor and nothing more.
Delhomme had another terrible performance
in week 12; throwing for only 168 yards, 1 touchdown and 2
interceptions. This is the seventh time in eleven games that
Delhomme hasn’t thrown for 200 yards in a game.
This isn't the type of performance you'd
expect from a consensus top ten quarterback during the preseason.
Welcome to Hall, Jake.
