Hall of
Shame - Week 15
Everybody Knows Your Name
|
I don't care who you are; Player, Coach,
Broadcaster, Writer, you name it. You sucked, and we're going to tell you
why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay #1 - Drew
Brees
Drew Brees has been a fantasy god at
quarterback this season, putting up 300-yard passing games week after
week. After his brilliant 384-yard 5 touchdown performance he failed to
throw a single touchdown pass against the Washington Redskins who have
one of the worst pass defenses in the league.
Not only did he not throw a touchdown but
he threw for only 207 yards and had an interception. These were not the
numbers fantasy owners were expecting heading into their fantasy
playoffs.
Shame on you for killing many fantasy
teams with a dud of a performance.

StingRay #2 -
Antonio Gates
Antonio Gates was the victim of some
horrible play by San Diego Chargers' quarterback Philip Rivers, but
regardless his 1 catch for 7 yard performance was horrible considering
Gates was a high draft pick in all fantasy leagues.
Fantasy teams drafted Gates early so that
they could dominate at the tight end position but this performance
probably cost many teams a shot at their league title.

CrunchTime - Jon
Kitna
What do people expect when they see a Mike
Martz quarterback going up against a team whose defense is ranked 28th
in passing yards allowed and 31st in passing TD’s allowed? I’m
guessing they’re looking to see some great numbers and a fantasy playoff
win.
Unfortunately that’s not what they got
from Kitna this week. Instead they got a measly 135 passing yards and no
touchdowns. The only number higher than expected? Interceptions.
Green Bay had only collected 9 on the season and Kitna threw 2 in one
game. That’s simply shameful and probably cost some owners their playoff
run.
