Hall of
Shame - Week 11
Everybody Knows Your Name
|
I don't care who you are; Player, Coach,
Broadcaster, Writer, you name it. You sucked, and we're going to tell you
why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

StingRay -
Frank Gore
Frank Gore finished Sunday’s effort with
63 yard total yards - carrying the ball 15 times for 32 yards (Gore did
catch 5 receptions for 32 yards).
Frank Gore has been a huge bust this year.
So far this season Gore has failed to rush for 100-yards in a game and
he only has 3 touchdowns in ten games.

CrunchTime -
Rudi Johnson
I’d like to take this space this week to
start nominations for the biggest busts of the year. Rudi has been one
of the biggest disappointments in the past few years. If you take away
his solid second week performance he’s been a complete waste of a roster
spot. While some of that can be chalked up to injury issues, it’s worth
noting that he’s now started three straight games and has only 82
rushing yards total to show for it and only 10 receiving yards.
30 yards per game from someone who was
considered a 1st or 2nd round pick is just abysmal and worth some
serious time in the Hall of Shame.

The Sandman -
Pittsburgh Steelers
Let me start by saying I am a huge
Steelers fan. I bleed black and gold but there is no way that a
team this good should be losing to the Cardinals, Broncos and this week
the Jets.
The Jets passing defense was ranked 23rd
and their rushing defense was ranked last in the league but the Steelers
managed to throw for under 200 yards while rushing for only 3.4 yards
per carry. What should have been a huge fantasy week for the Steelers’
offensive players turned into a huge disappointment.
