Hall of
Shame - Week 16
Everybody Knows Your Name
|
I don't care who you are; Player, Coach,
Broadcaster, Writer, you name it. You sucked, and we're going to tell you
why.
Another staff
favorite, our Hall of Shame picks highlight our individual selections for the
worst sports-related performers of the week.

CrunchTime -
Antonio Gates
I love Antonio Gates
and he’s been a key component for two of my fantasy
teams this year. He started the season on fire
but in weeks 15 and 16 in the fantasy playoffs he
was a no show.
In week 15 Gates had 1
reception for 8 yards. In week 16 (my fantasy
Super Bowls) Antonio Gates let me down by catching
only 1 pass for 24 yards. In week 13 if you
had needed Gates to get you into the playoffs he
hurt you with a 1 catch for minus 1 yard
performance.
The best tight end in
fantasy football finished the fantasy season by
catching only 1 pass in 3 out of his last 4 games.
Shame!

The Sandman -
Philadelphia Eagles
For most of the year I have had to listen
to Eagle fans complain about Donovan McNabb, and now everyone is
expecting that he will be playing his last game in that uniform this
week.
I’m not sure why the Eagles are in such a
rush to get rid of McNabb. McNabb has taken them to a Super Bowl and
thrown for over 3,000 yards four times. He has done this despite
not having any receivers, outside of a short time with Terrell Owens.
The other thing that the Eagles need to
look at are all of the crappy quarterbacks in the league. Would they
rather have Cleo Lemon, Kyle Orton or Troy Smith? I don’t think
so. I know that they think that they have a successor in Kevin Kolb but
is it worth the risk of setting your franchise back five or six years?
